Through rigorous training, and mystic rituals, Tsushida's tribe has attained the ability to harmonize (combine their souls) with the souls of various animals. Tsushida's parents chose one of the most ferocious animals, the tiger. There are levels of Harmonization that Tsushida and his tribal members can go through, each adding to the Harmonizer's own ability. Here is a breakdown of what Tsushida experiences as he attains each level of Harmonization. Note: Because it looks "cool", Tsushida is always seen at a Harmonization of at least level 1 (10%).
Beast Harmonization Level 1 (10%) -- At this level, a Harmonizer's abilities are about the same as a regular humans, with the slight change in the Harmonizer's appearance and senses. With Tsushida, he grows a tiger-like tail, and his senses increase by 10%.
Beast Harmonization Level 2 (11% - 20%) -- At this level, there is a 10% increase in Tsushida's speed and agility, a 5% increase in strength, and a 15% increase in his senses. He also starts to grow a little fur.
Beast Harmonization Level 3 (21% - 30%) -- At this level, speed and agility increase by 15%, strength increases by 10%, and his senses increase by 20%. More fur starts to grow, and claws and fangs start to develop.
Beast Harmonization Level 4 (31% - 40%) -- At this level, speed and agility increase by 20%, strength increases by 15%, and his senses increase by 25%. His appearance begins to become more feral, he sprouts cat-like ears on top of his head, and he becomes more prone to rage. At this point, any damage done to him is calculated into his Beast Gauge, and increases his Harmonization percentage.
Beast Harmonization Level 5 (41% - 50%) -- At this level, speed and agility increase by 30%, strength increases by 25%, and his senses increase by 35%. This level causes him to start becoming unstable, as the beast's spirit within him is trying to take over. He looses himself from time to time, but is still able to think with his human self. His appearance appears more like a tiger than normal.
Beast Harmonization Level 6 (51% - 75%) -- At this level, speed and agility increase by 50%, strength increases by 45%, and senses increase by 55%. At this level, Tsushida is unable to discern from friend or foe, and goes into a "berserk-like state". He assumes the full form of a tiger, and will pursue his "prey" until he has tasted blood on his lips.
Beast Harmonization Level 7 (76% - 80%) -- At this level, speed and agility increase by 70%, strength increases by 65%, and senses increase by 75%. Tsushida's tiger form begins to increase in power, making himself larger than normal. His savagery also increases with his power. Even more blood will be needed to return himself to a human.
Beast Harmonization Level 8 [Final] (81% - 100%) -- The final level attainable by Harmonizers. This level makes Tsushida's tiger form near-demonic. speed and agility increase by 90%, strength increases by 85%, and senses increase by 95%. Harmonizers do whatever they can to avoid this level, for those who've reached this level aren't normally able to return to their human forms without satisfying a few requirements: They must not be hunting anything at the moment, they must be completely calm (preferably asleep), and they have to have fed on "something" to satisfy their blood lust.
