Reality TV is something I can't say I've ever been into. Yes, I'm a media nut but as far as television shows are concerned I've never been a fan of the over dramatized "unscripted" contestants who are willing to sell their granny's souls for a million smackers. Unfortunately, I've now become a huge addict of a couple slightly different kind of reality shows, which are still reality shows nontheless.

First off, Project Runway. I got into this one about halfway through the first season and have been hooked to the fashion-is-the-only-thing-worth-breathing-for atmosphere of the show ever since. And with Heidi Klum as a host/judge, there's no way you can go wrong with that. (Did anyone else see her at the Victoria Secret runway show? A few weeks after she had a baby? eek )

Then there's the killer.. So You Think You Can Dance. I love dance. It's simply wonderous. Especially when you're home alone, making waffles, and listening to the Blue Man Group. This series completely blows me away with the huge variety of dance styles and the sheer talent that these contestants have. (Current favorites include the gorgeous Allison and the dorky swing dancer Benji.)

In any case, yes, this is Para's new journal. My last one was crap and there's no one that would disagree with that. Will this one be crap too? Most likely but during my free time of summer there's little else I have to do but bake, pass out playing DDR (at least when the air conditioning is broken T.T), and mosey around the computer. Toodles.
