I haven’t felt much like writing lately. That Field Manipulation test was harder than I thought it’d be. We got our grades today, and there was that sinking feeling when I saw that 78% at the top of the page. I definitely need to do better next time. I can’t let that mean Mr. Horitt get the better of me. Drastic steps may be in order.

On the brighter side of things, I’m getting better at using my phasing sigil. Mrs. Unni says I’m a natural. It’s becoming much easier to control energy fields, even if I don’t fully understand the mechanics of it. Of course, I’m not yet able to handle large sized fields for any really impressive gaiamancy, but that will come in time.

One of my classmates, Geraldine, on the other hand, seems to affect great quantities of power without much effort. Her only problem is controlling it in a constructive way. Many times she ends up destroying her materials rather than manipulating them. That can be quite dangerous if she isn’t careful. eek
