Tiko lived next (outside of) to the city of Anexdun. He had a lifelong friend he saw everyday and eventually they found themselves to being the perfect couple, this perfect girls name was Alesseann (Al-ess-en.) They loved each other so much that he never wanted to leave her side. They said they'd be together and to prove it they carved their names into a big oak tree in the center of town. He loved her and she loved him.
This city was more of a theocracy so they believed deeply in witchcraft being the sins of the devil. Any sign of it from anyone even just ppl passing through were executed for any sign of witchcraft.
They night he was supposed to take her out on a date, her housed was smashed into what looked like the work of an earthquake..... she was gone. Running to find her he eventually saw a group in the town square next to their oak tree, and standing on a platform with a rope around her neck, was Alessean. He broke out running for he knew what was going to happen and knew their prediction of her was wrong. Just reaching the top of the platform, the sound of a snap pierced his hears.
Broken and forever dammed into depression, he takes her body and near his house gives it the proper burning it deserved. His mind snapped when his love's soft neck did. He vowed that this city will be forever dammed for tearing his heart in two.
Tiko mixed the ashes of Alessean into a metal which he used to forge his very own sword to seek his revenge. We wanted that city to beg and cry to him that they made a very big mistake. Not even then would he be satisfied. Unfortuneately he didn't know if he could seek this havoc in his heart out upon the city and dealing with Alessean's death was even worse on him. After forging the sword he decided to cast himself over the edge of a cliff with it, the love he longed for his whole life.
That same night the great oak tree with the two's name carved into it caught fire and burned to the ground. No matter how much water was poured to save the tree, the fire kept raging even more mad than the last drop hitting its core.
The next night a mysterious man in black ran through the city, and the very next morning, a total of 87 bodies were found diced along the streets. Everyone in that city block that was out during the night was found dead.
The village knew who made this massacre and didn't know how he did it, but they DID know he was probably asleep in his house, exhausted from his first massacer. When they got there the only thing found was a pile of ashes and a small tombstone with the initials T+A carved into it. Sadly no murderer was found there.
The following morning the mayor's house and office were both ibroken into and the mayor himself wasn't well. This was b/c the mayors arms and legs were in his house, while the torso and head (still connected) were found flopping on the floor and just barely alive, still crying, still bleeding, still suffering for his crime. The town wanted this problem fixed and flyers were put out saying that if anyone had any information on this man's location or what he wants to report to the square and speak to the officer sitting at the table. Still nothing... nobody even went near that table.
That night the guards were placed everywhere patrolling the streets, the rooftops, and even the sewers. All citizens were reported to stay in their houses and to not leave till the bell rang the next next day.
What was found in the morning was every officer and guard...... torn to shreds, painting the town in the red of their blood. The only officers not slaughtered were the 12 patrolling in the sewers, a much different fate found them. The only manhole in the city leading their escape had been shut tight, no man to re-open it. The guards freaked and sat in fear for no means of escape were possible. A hole couldn't be blasted b/c it would crumble the whole sewer line. The guards could escape into the damn either b/c the fall was too great and could easily kill anyone who dared drop it.
After a week of waiting, the manholes finally loosened up but a few days too late. All of the guards were dead except one,he said that their fate was either to starved or killed each other for food. The barely living guard had a note of interest placed in his pouch, he never knew when it got there or even how. The living guard died of a disease probably passed on from the rats a few days later.
The note only said this:
- "Your Theocracy is to end by your hands or mine."
The city did end its theocracy and stated that nobody is to be hanged for witchcraft ever again. Even though this law was passed, the killings didn't stop. A few days after the law was passed Tiko still ran through the city on random nights tearing up anyone who dared venture out for his bounty. The town said it would pay a fortune for this killer to be put to his grave. Though nobody could come close to ending this task.
The killings will never stop and even though the killer is heard laughing in the streets each night, the town knew that he truly lived a life of sadness. Behind this disturbed killers smiling and blood lusted eyes... were really tears for his love.

A few blood-filled weeks later is when our company joins in the story and tries to put an ending to Tiko's lifelong blood suck on Anexdun.
