Well my friend is doing much better now and I'm happy for him. I'll give u guys the good news first. So basically they're getting the hook-up now. Someone is letting them stay at a house for 3 months while their house is getting re-built. Plus they get a donation of all the wood needed to build it, AND... Sears is giving them free furniture to put into it. Plenty of clothes were donated and I believe their set (although donations are still appreciated ppl *wink* *wink*
Now for the bad news, there really isn't much. Only thing I found out is that the fire department lied about something. I mentioned before that my friend TRIED to get his animals out of the house but what really happened is that when he was about to, the fire department grabbed him and asked if anyone was in the house. He said no but there are animals in the house and he pointed to them in the window. The fire department said okay and that they'll get them out. Being the dumb asses that they are... they ignored the animals and tried to break into the top floor of the house for reasons unknown. So the animals died where the only thing that they needed to do was break the glass window to let them jump out. My friend said he would've done it but he wasn't in throwing distance of the house.
The big part of this is that the fire department didn't mention this and said that my friend "tried" to get to the animals but couldn't. They realized that they could've save them but didn't and blamed my friend for it, saying that he got there before they did but couldn't get to them and that they already died by the time they got there.
So thats the ups and downs to having a house fire. Once again donations would be appreciated. Look at the bottom of my previous journal entry to see the details on where to ship stuff to them.... you will do this if you have a heart heart if not then I'm sure satin has a nice little seat for u down there.
