(Everyone is wandering around now.)
Rouge: Hey,Knuckies-do you think we'll meet up with the others?
Knuckles: Of course,but it might just be a coincidence.
Rouge: Okay,do you think we're being followed?
Knuckles: Not really,why?
Rouge: I feel as if we're being followed-hey,why are going toward Dangerous Valley? That place kinda scares me.
Knuckles: We're wandering,remember? We'll just turn left,then.
*As they turn left,something punches Rouge in the stomach and makes her pass out*
Knuckles (turning around) : Rouge?!
*A quick,black,almost-impossible-to-see creature takes Rouge toward Dangerous Valley's border*
Knuckles (eyes turning red) : SHADOW!
*Knuckles chases after Shadow*
Shadow (laughing evily) : Just according to plan.
To Sonic and Amy.......
Amy: Sonic,I think something's wrong.
Sonic: Yeah,me too.
*Their moniters beep*
Sonic and Amy: Yeah?
(The picture and voice is very scratchy.)
Jenny (on the moniter) : Sonic,Amy-I just looked around the Earth with my Extremespeed,and something's wrong! Shadow has come again-and has taken Rouge again!
Sonic and Amy: What?!
Jenny (on the moniter) : Yes,hurry up and get to Dangerous Valley! Knuckles has been angered,and his power has come up again! Hurry-and contact Tails and Cosmo for me!!!
*The moniter turns off*
Sonic: Let's go.
Amy: Right.
*They run towards Dangerous Valley*
To Tails and Cosmo...........
Cosmo: Tails,this place is so wonderful-I don't understand how we couldn't have seen this place before.
Tails: Yeah.
*Their moniters beep*
(Their moniters are okay.)
Sonic (on the moniter) : Guys,get to Dangerous Valley! Trouble has occured again! Quickly!
Tails: Ok-
Amy (on the moniter) : JUST HURRY UP!!!! AND CONTACT CHRIS,CREAM,AND CHEESE FOR US!!!!
*Their moniters go blank*
Cosmo: Amy has a big temper.
Tails: Yeah,but let's get going.
*They ride toward Dangerous Valley*
To Chris,Cream,and Cheese.......
Cream: Mmmmm.....
*Cheese makes some delighted sounds*
Chris: Do you like sitting in the sun,Cream and Cheese?
*They both nod*
*Their moniters beep (except Cheese-it doesn't have one!) *
Tails (on the moniter) : Guys,mischief is brewing again! Quickly,get to Dangerous Valley!
Chris: Go-
Cosmo (on the moniter) : Just go!
*Their moniters go blank*
Cream: Come on-let's go!
*Cream rides her board to Dangerous Valley while Chris and Cheese hold onto her*
To Dangerous Valley........
Shadow (holding Rouge) : We meet again.
Knuckles (with red eyes) : You better give back Rouge or else...
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Or else what? You're going to chase me again?
*Knuckles gets really angry*
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Hah!
*A black portal circles 'round and 'round next to Shadow*
Shadow (holding Rouge,going through the portal) : Come and get me,then.
*Knuckles runs toward Shadow and the portal*
*The others arrive*
Everybody (that got there) : Knuckles,Rouge!!!
*Knuckles and Shadow go through the portal,and the others try to get through as well*
*Sonic,Tails,and Amy get through,but the others get repelled back*
*The portal gets a little smaller*
Chris: What's going on?
(I made up Cosmo's journal.)
Cosmo (taking out her journal) : If my traveling serves me right,this portal should be the entrance to...Darkness Ridge.
Cream: Darkness Ridge? That sounds like a scary place.
Cosmo (reading her journal) : It is-you see,there are specific rules for this place. If you are more than half "pure",you're not allowed to enter.
Chris: That's a wierd rule.
Jenny: Indeed,it is.
Cosmo (reading her journal) : Wierd,yes,but very strict.
Cream: I can only see black-nothing else.
Cosmo (putting her journal away) : Let's see-if I touch the top and the bottom of this portal,we should be able to-
*A clear scene of what's happening appears on the portal*
Chris: You did it,Cosmo!
Cosmo: Now,let's see what's going on.
Cream: How did you do that?
Cosmo: I'm not really sure...
*They look at the portal*
To Darkness Ridge..........
Amy (holding tightly onto Sonic) : What's going on?
Sonic: Looks like we're in some kind of place.
Tails: I've never seen a place filled with black sky and purple ground.
Knuckles (eyes back to normal) : Me neither.
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Hello there.
Knuckles,Amy,Sonic,and Tails: Shadow!
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Welcome to my world,fools. I control everything that lives here,and everything that happens here.
Knuckles,Amy,Sonic,and Tails (thinking) : "Lives?"
Shadow: Allow me to show you your opponents.
*Eight dark,black objects walk up*
Shadow (holding Rouge) : These are your dark sides-Sonic,Amy,Tails,Cream,Cheese,Cosmo,the moonwolf,and Chris.
*Cosmo's,Cream's,Cheese's,Jenny's,and Chris's black color seem to be a gray color while the others are almost a pitch black*
Tails: Why're some of them gray?
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Since it's your first time here,I'll explain-you see,since they're more than half "pure",they aren't permitted to be here.
Amy: Hey,if that's "our" dark sides,where is Knuckles?!
Shadow (holding Rouge) : I was hoping you would say that.
*He snaps his fingers,and Tails's and Sonic's dark sides bring up a black,chained-up cage*
*Amy,Sonic,Knuckles,and Tails gasp*
Shadow (hodling Rouge) : Awaken.
*A pitch black object breaks out of the cage and steps out next to its comrades*
Sonic: I think you're question has been answered,Amy...
Amy: Yeah...
Shadow (holding Rouge) : The strongest dark side of them all-Knuckles.
*Knuckles goes into a shock and looks to the ground*
Knuckles (thinking) : Strongest...dark side...of them...all?
Shadow (holding Rouge) : Now,if you don't mind,I'll be leaving with Rouge to make her evil again while you fight against your dark sides. Dark sides-fight to your heart's content,and catch up with me later.
*Shadow disappears with Rouge*
Tails (shaking Knuckles) : Knuckles,snap out of it! Knuckles!
*Knuckles doesn't say anything*
*The dark sides start to attack*
Sonic: Leave him be for a while,Tails! We have to fight these things away now!
*Sonic's dark side kicks Sonic*
Sonic (sliding back) : Agh!
Amy: Sonic!
*Amy's dark side punches Amy*
Amy (also sliding back) : Ow!!
Tails: Sonic! Amy!
*Tails's dark side headbutts Tails*
Tails (also sliding back) : Ugh!
*Knuckles's dark sides seems to wait for Knuckles to make the first move*
*The other dark sides wait*
Sonic (trying to get up) : Knuckles,move!
*Knuckles appears lost in thought*
Amy (also trying to get up) : Knuckles,start moving!
*Knuckles still doesn't move*
Tails (also trying to get up) : Knuckles,Rouge is depending on you to rescue her!
*Knuckles snaps back into reality by a little bit*
Tails (still trying to get up) : She'll be turned back to evil if you don't move! What if she does turn back to evil?! We might never be able to be friends with her again!
*Knuckles,completely,snaps back into reality*
Amy (standing up) : You,sure,do know what to say,Tails.
Tails (standing up as well) : I'm not so sure about that.
Sonic (also standing up) : Let's just get back to fighting those things.
*Knuckles starts to try punching his dark side,but the dark side easily dodges each punch*
*Knuckles's dark side starts to kick Knuckles,but Knuckles,slightly,dodges each kick*
*After a few moments of fighting,Sonic and his friends recieve severe damage*
Amy (tired out from fighting and injuries) : They're too strong!
Tails (also tired out from fighting and injuries) : I can't believe this!
Sonic (tired out from fighting and injuries as well) : I don't understand how Knuckles can keep fighting!
(Knuckles gave little damage to his dark side while his dark side gave him severe damage.)
*Knuckles gets kicked in the stomach*
Knuckles (red eyes coming) : Oh,yeah?
*His dark side seems as if he's smiling*
*His dark side gets red eyes as well,and they,both,start hitting each other viciously*
Sonic (trying to get up again) : Impossible,no one has that much power...
Tails (also trying to get up) : Well,you've been proved wrong.
*The gray dark sides stomp their feet,as if they're warning the black dark sides of something*
*The dark sides disappear,as if a reaction to the feet stomping*
Amy (standing up) : What just happened?
Knuckles (eyes back to normal) : They just disappeared-isn't that obvious?
*A faint,white object approaches them*
Tails (standing up) : Hm?
*The faint,white object gets startled and backs away a little*
Knuckles (holding his right arm with his left arm) : Hey,doesn't that look like Shadow?
Sonic (standing up) : Yeah.
*The faint,white object starts to approach them again*
Amy: We won't hurt you-come here.
*It approaches Amy and stays there*
Tails: You must be Shadow's good side,right?
*It nods its head*
Sonic: It must be pretty weak,since Shadow is so evil.
Amy: Yeah.
Tails: But it's better to have more help.
*They all nod their heads*
Knuckles (thinking) : Rouge,no matter what,I'll find and rescue you.
Now,the team is seperated between two places. Sonic and some of his friends must rescue Rouge while the others wait,watching with terror. What other dangers await them?
