Cream: I'm tired of waiting around for them! I want to go help them!
*Cheese agrees with Cream*
Chris: I know how you feel,Cream,but we can't! We're too "pure" and aren't permitted inside!
Jenny (sitting down) : Still,I wish we could help them somehow... It just doesn't seem correct to just sit and watch them...
Cosmo: Isn't that because your breed is suppose to help others?
Jenny (giving a weak smile) : Pretty much.
Chris: If only we could find a way to get rid of the darkness,we could enter...
Cosmo: This darkness is too strong for me to do anything-all I did was make it clear,so we can see them.
Jenny: I guess the only thing we can do is hope...
*They watch in doubt and hope*
To Darkness Ridge............
*Sonic,Tails,and Knuckles still are trying out their weapons*
Amy (thinking) : No fair... Why do they get a weapon,and I don't? It's not like I had a weapon or anything like that before...
Sonic: Amy? Are you okay? You look kind of frustrated...
Amy: Frustrated? Me? Of course not! Why would I be frustrated?!
Tails: We have new weapons,and you don't.
Amy: Well...
Knuckles: Plus you're practically screaming out loud.
Amy: Umm...
Sonic: So... are you frustrated?
Amy: NO!!!
Knuckles: Then,you're mad.
Amy: Well...
Tails: You're mad because we have new weapons,and you don't. It's pretty obvious once you figure it out.
Knuckles: Besides,you already have a weapon-that hammer of yours.
Knuckles (thinking) : And she IS a weapon...
Sonic: Let's get going-if we don't find Rouge,we'll never get out of here!
Knuckles: Rouge...
To Shadow........
Shadow (thinking,carrying unconscious Rouge) : I don't remember the trip being so long...
*The dark sides appear in front of Shadow,and Shadow stops*
Shadow (carrying unconscious Rouge) : Well? How did it go?
*The dark sides look down at the ground*
Shadow (carrying unconscious Rouge) : It failed? All I asked was for you to get me THOSE,and you couldn't do it? All you had to do was activate their powers and snatch it from them-it's that simple!
*Knuckles's dark side seems to being showing how it went to Shadow (sign language in a way,if you must) *
Shadow (carrying unconscious Rouge) : So you managed to activate them,but you failed to get them.
*The dark sides doubtfully nod their heads*
Shadow (carrying unconscious Rouge) : I do not tolerate failure! Make sure to finish this task,and come back with good news!
*The dark sides nod the heads quickly and disappear*
Shadow (thinking,running again with unconscious Rouge) : They're starting to prove themselves unworthy...
Back to Sonic and his friends (some anyway) ..............
*Shadow's good side seems to be looking around the place,as if it knew the place*
Amy: Is there something the matter,little guy?
*Shadow's good side shaked its head no*
Amy: All right,then.
Tails (looking at the moniter) : I think I can get through to the others now.
Sonic and Knuckles: Really?!
Tails (adjusting the moniter) : Yeah. If I just rearrange this and replace it with that...
Chris (on the moniter) : Hello? Who is it?
Sonic: All right! He did it!
Chris (on the moniter) : Sonic? Is that you?! Is it really you and the others?!
Tails: Yeah,you'll never believe what we've been through!
Jenny (on the moniter) : Oh,we have-we've been watching you guys fight and fight.
Amy: You have?! How?!
Cream (on the moniter) : Cosmo did it! Isn't she great?!
*Cheese makes some agreeing sounds*
*Knuckles seems to stare off into space,not participating in the conversation*
Jenny (thinking,apparently on the moniter) : What's wrong with Knuckles?
Knuckles: Um,you guys-do you think you can fight?
Amy: I don't think so from the last fight but with the new weapons,yes!
Knuckles: 'Cause the company is back...
*The dark sides float in air*
Sonic: Oh no! We'll chat later! We have to keep fighting!
*The moniter turns off*
Tails: Broken again...
Knuckles (holding out his Power Sword) : I'll give you a taste of my new power!
Sonic and Tails (holding out their weapons) : Us,too!
Amy (with Shadow's good side): I think I'll stay behind and watch after Good Shadow...
*Shadow's good sides quivers in fear once again*
*The "night" darkens*
*The dark sides seem to smile once again*
Sonic,Tails,and Knuckles: Huh?
*Sonic's,Tails's,and Knuckles's dark sides seem to have powered up and have black aura around them*
Knuckles: I get the feeling this isn't going to be easy...
Sonic: Hey,what is?
A battle arises once again with the same enemies! Shadow must want whatever he wants so badly! But the dark sides are doing all the work for him! Will Shadow's wish be granted? Or will Sonic and his friends prevail?
