(The setting is inside Darkness Ridge right now. They are not in a line anymore.)
Sonic: I can't believe technology can't be used here! I'm tired of walking so slowly with you guys!
Amy: We're wiped out from that recent match,Sonic! And you are,too! Tails is trying his best to use his technology here! Can't you figure these things out yourself?! UGH!!!
Tails (still trying to use his communicator) : Man,I wish I read more books...
Knuckles: Uh oh,we have company,you guys...
*The dark sides appear*
Sonic (Amy behind him) : Those again!
*The dark sides seem to smile,especially Knuckles's dark side*
*Shadow's good side quivers in fear*
Tails: Don't worry,little guy,we'll defeat them.
*Shadow's good side still continues to quiver in fear*
Knuckles (fist up in front of his face): Have you come back for our match?!
*They nod their heads in an syncronized way*
Sonic: Well,let's get to it then...
Amy: But we've only covered about 1/4 of our strength!
Sonic: Hey,we can make it.
Knuckles: Enough with the chitchat! Let's fight!
*Knuckles impatiently goes for a punch at his dark side*
*His dark side disappears and kicks Knuckles on his back*
Knuckles (falling down) : Gahh!
*Sonic's dark side charges at Sonic*
Sonic (slightly dodging it) : Ugh!
Amy (with her hammer) : Hyah! Hyah! Take that and that!
*Her dark side stands there,looking at Amy embarrassing herself as she hits nothing*
*Tails goes for a tail whip*
*Tails's dark side dodges it,quickly enough for a counterattack*
Tails (skidding on the ground) : Aahh!
*Shadow's dark side quivers in fear as it watches the fight*
*The weaker dark sides stay there,just watching them fight*
Meanwhile at the outside world...........
Cream: This is terrible! How can we help them?!
*Cheese makes some frantic sounds*
Jenny: We can't,remember? Cosmo said we're not allowed inside.
Chris (taking a careful look at it) : Hey,is it just me or is that place a little brighter than usual?
Cosmo (taking a careful look at it) : Looks like it's "morning" over there.
Cream: "Morning?" But it's the afternoon over here! Around evening perhaps!
*Cheese makes some confused sounds*
Jenny: Time could be faster in that world.
Cosmo (nodding her head) : Yes,it seems like that. And look-they're giving better shots at those things than before.
Chris: Hey,since they are "dark",wouldn't they be weak in "light?"
Jenny: That's a great guess,Chris! They should have a chance against them with that advantage!
Cosmo: Yes,but that's not too much as an advantage-it only weakens the enemies,and there doesn't seem to be a lot of light in there...
Cream: I wish we could help...
*Cheese makes a regretful sound*
*They watch in horror,the battle inside of Darkness Ridge*
Back inside Darkness Ridge..............
Sonic (being tossed back) : Oof!
Amy (being hit) : Ahh!
Tails (being counterattacked) : Ugh!
Knuckles (sending endless attacks and being hit and dodged by) : Gahh!
*After a few more hits,Sonic and his friends find themselves exhausted (besides Knuckles)*
Amy (gasping for air) : We're...not going...to make...it...
*They doubtfully watch Knuckles miss shots and get injured*
*Soon,Knuckles gets thrown back by a savage hit from his dark side*
*Knuckles's dark side seems to be laughing,yet still not satisfied*
*It walks toward Knuckles,who's wounded more seriously than the others*
*Shadow's good side steps in front of Knuckles,preventing Knuckles's dark side from going any farther*
*Knuckles's dark side raises his fist,as if threatening the weak good side*
*Shadow's good side doesn't move*
*Knuckles's dark side slaps away Shadow's good side,continuing its way to its creator and stands in front of Knuckles*
Sonic (getting up) : Gotta help...
*Sonic charges for Knuckles's dark side,and it seems to smile again*
*Luckily,Sonic hits Knuckles's dark side,but Knuckles groans in pain*
Sonic: What?!
Knuckles (grasping his left arm) : My left arm...
Sonic: Hey,that's the spot where I hit your dark side!
*Knuckles's dark side gets up and hits Sonic*
Sonic (skidding on the ground) : Ugh!
Knuckles (getting up,grasping his left arm) : I don't know how much strength you have,but I'll defeat you!
*A sword appears in Knuckles's hand,and Knuckles slashes it at his dark side-fortunately,it hits*
*Knuckles's dark side skids back with the other dark sides*
Knuckles: Whoa! A sword!
*A bombshooter appears on Tails arm*
Tails (amazed,getting up) : Amazing!
*A whip appears in Sonic's hand*
Sonic: Cool! Now,let's fight!
*They all attack the dark sides*
*Chris's,Jenny's,and Cream's dark side picks up Knuckles's dark side and disappears with the rest*
Amy (standing up) : They retreated...YOU COWARDS!!!
*Amy goes to help Shadow's good side*
Tails: That's strange-they left as soon as we began to use our new weapons...
Knuckles (holding up his sword) : Hey,Tails,what are these called?
Tails: Well,if my knowledge serves me correctly,your sword should be a Power Sword,which can vigorously slash and cut over 100 enemies in a second,but it can only slash and cut one powerful enemy at a time. And Sonic-yours is a Speed whip that can blindly whip over 100 enemies in a second,but it can only whip one powerful enemy at a time. And mine is a Fly Bombshooter that can endlessly bomb over 100 enemies in a second,but it can only bomb one powerful enemy at a time.
Sonic (whipping his whip on the ground) : Cool.
Knuckles (slashing his sword on the ground) : Neat.
Amy: Are you okay,um,Good Shadow?
*Shadow's good side nods its head*
Amy: Fortunately,you were able to endure it,but aren't you pretty weak? Well,I guess he slapped you pretty gently.
*Shadow's good side gives a "confused" look at Amy*
Sonic (still whipping the ground) : These weapons are great!
Knuckles (still slashing the ground) : Yeah. Waah!
*A bomb of smoke hits them*
Sonic and Knuckles: Tails!
Tails: Sorry,guys,there're just a lot of interesting options here-like smoke,fire,water,rock,poison,etc.
Sonic: It's a perfect fit for you,Tails.
Knuckles: Yeah.
*Darkness Ridge's "morning" ends into a dark "night"*
Hooray! The new weapons have come! They have an advantage now! And when it's morning,the dark sides are weakened! Still,will those advantages be enough to defeat their strong enemies?!
