Art field trips kick a**, xp .

I had a good day today. The art club (which I am apart of) got to go on a trip to an Art museum and scholars exhibition. It was cool; looking at others art is interesting. Sometimes you try to think of what the person is actually like; others, you're somewhat lost looking and attempting to interpret the piece rather than creator.

I got to spend most of the day with my friend ('cause I sort of follow her around, whee ), it was fun. After school, she and a friend came over and just sat around for a while. He's pretty cool too, but he seems to have some stuff he has to sort through at times (considering what I've heard and seen of him)... Nonetheless, I'm glad to have him as a friend. They also brought a little a friend called "momentary tension." Only stayed for a bit, but made itself known.

It was nice to get away from the general populace at my school for a day (I like weekends, obviously), and even though I don't care for some of the people in the art club (to hyper-active and flamboyant), it's still better than the red-neck homophobes and sexists I normally see; and they wonder why I'm a schizoid (not as in "schizophrenic" wink quasi-recluse.

Anyway, only 12 more weeks of this year, and only 3 whole ones for this semester. It's too bad this year is moving by so fast, despite what I've said, it's been a great year (one friend moved back, I met several others, and really solidified my political, social, and economic beliefs)... I try not let the soon-to-be lack of friends (well, really good ones... Not acquaintences) affect me too much, seeing as whining won't affect the passage of time, there's no use... Live now, not tomorrow or in the past.
