Kittie, being a neko, was always playful and full of energy, never shy and loved being around people. And of cousre she had a mischevious and curious nature that often times got her into trouble.

Kittie would take regular walks about the city in the dark of night. Everything looked so much more beautiful to her in the star-light and she would go out every night to enjoy the wonderful sight that no human would ever get to see with their own two eyes. On this particular night Kittie wandered from her usual route through the city, looking for new wonders to admire. She stopped for a moment to look up at the moon when a sharp high pitched screeching sound caught her attention. Her ears twitched this way and that, trying to find the source of the noise. It was coming from a near by alley. Kittie knew in her head that it wasn't a good idea to follow the sound... but her inquisitive nature would not let her dissmiss it that easily. She began walking toward the alley trying to be as quiet as she could. She felt a sudden thrill as the hunter in her became aware. She began crouching low to the ground, being sure that each step was delicately placed. Whe she reached the end of the alley and peeked around the corner, she saw a man standing there with his back against the brick wall. A dark figure was hunched over him. Kittie's eyes grew wide. She knew what this creature of the night was..... a vampire. The figure lifted it's head and screeched once more before dropping the human he had used for his meal. It turned and looked straight into Kittie's eyes. She stared back at him, feeling a sense of familiarity about him. The vampire had cat like eyes, she had never seen a vampire with eyes like that, and.... was that a glimpse of a tail? She stood upright and walked into complete veiw of the monster. "What are you? You are unlike any vampire I've seen before...." He flashed his blood stained teeth and smiled, not saying a word. Kittie suddenly felt a sudden chill and the urge to run but was mesmerized by his eyes, as if he had her under a spell. She tried to look away, but couldn't will her head to move. He slowly stepped toward her not taking his eyes from her's. Unable to move, Kittie stood there with tears running down her face. She knew her life was going to end here....
