R.I.P. Vinny 2-4-07
It's amazing how low a person can get,
how easily a life can be taken,
and how all you're filled with is regret.
Just last night a good friend of mine,
a father figure to many,
a man who could make anyone laugh,
was murdered.
Murdered over twenty dollars.
It's sad how his life was taken,
for a price of twenty dollars.
Is that all a life really costs now-a-days?
He had gone to his sister's house to break up a fight,
between his brother, and his sister's boyfriend.
Appearently they were fighting over this amazing twenty dollars.
He broke them apart,
but as he turned away,
his sister's boyfriend stabbed him.
He died soon after.
All over twenty dollars.
The murderer is now in jail.
But is that really fair?
Should he get to go to jail?
He's given food, a place to sleep,
all kinds of things.
While he's in jail.
But is that really fair seeing as he took a great man's life?
A blemish on his record,
time in jail.
All over twenty dollars.
I think he should be shot.
But who cares what I think right?
All he did was murder a man,
who's wife and three kids have no longer.
A man that everyone respected,
and everyone loved.
Yeah, all he did was take his life.
Over twenty ********' dollars.
Is that really fair?
I know I love this man,
and I won't forget him.
And it pains me to think I'll never see his smile again.
But there's nothing I can do.
I just hope he's in a better place now,
and knows that he's an angel,
God sent.
That he,
will never be forgotten.
