Some guys make excuses not just for the pleasure of making excuses and getting their butts out of trouble, but because they think it's the best thing to do. They've got a good heart, but just don't understand the concept of telling the truth sometimes and would rather give a girl and excuse or a little white lie so as not to hurt her feelings. It's just one of those thinks that seperates their perceptions of a situation and ours (the female perception). If not examined in the right eye, this method could seem more hurtful than the truth, but is not to be interpretted that way. This is illustrated through that old-fashioned term, " It's the thought that counts."
Just another little bit of wisdom I wanted to post...if you really want to call it wisdom. XD I actually have less experience with guys than most girls when it comes to romantic relational matters, but I've been best friends with a couple since elementary school. I just like to analyze and submit things that I kind of pick up from the way they act and things they say.
