I'm told to wait... That I'll have my turn... I see you up there on stage... Slowly loosing the battle... I could help you... But I have to wait... I could save you a lot of pain... but I'm powerless... I reach out to you... Your empty eyes stare back at me... Turning away... I don't want you to leave... I can't let you go... Please... but I just have to wait... It's painful... but just have to hurry up and wait. Watching you fall... I can't save you... I want to reach out before it's too late... But I have to stand back... Watch the struggle... Like a caged animal... Held back... Please, just let me help... Pushed away... But if I just wait... Let time pass through the door before I do... If I can just hold on... Just let time take a rest, let it slow the days down. If I can just keep patient Stand to the side and watch it pass by seeing every moment I can't do something...
