Innocence loss: Pain, Cutting and Suicide
It all started when her dad died
her mom starting drinking,
bringing home any guy who'd sleep with her
she felt her life
slowly falling apart
she couldn't take it
she needed something
anything
to take her pain away
she tried to hide her scars
convince everyone
she was ok
but she wasn't
she couldn't take the pain of everyday life
the stares of pitty
the whispers
everyone trying to convince her things would get better when
deep inside she was screaming, bleeding
dying
months went by
she got worse
doing all kinds of drugs
cutting herself more
her mom had abandoned her
she had no one
she was no one
she was all alone
there wasn't a moment in the day
she didn't feel the pain of her existence
people tried to convince her life was only a hell if she let it be
but she lashed out and they lashed back
I bet now they wish they hadn't
she was feeling bad more than ever
she felt no one would care if she ended it all right then and there
she went to her moms house
crying and hysterical
she didn't know why she was there but she was
maybe she was hoping to be welcomed home
to have her mom say I love you and I'm sorry
but it brought back bad memories
emotions overwhelmed her
she found her dads old shot gun
her mom was passed out at the kitchen table
she didn't hesitate
she shot her mom
then herself
abandonment is
