Dear Diary,
So far, training has just been a basic overview of everything I’ve already learned. But it’s getting more and more complicated. Htrae seems to be the master of everything even relating to Earth. She said I was ready. So this is what happened because of that:

First, I’ll let you know, that I am ok now, so don’t get worried. This may take a while, so get comfortable.

When I read this, I decided to get off the floor. I knew I had been sitting there, next to my closet, for about an hour, and I wasn’t even halfway through my diary. I thought it was about time to get comfortable. I got on my bed, put my tibbar (who was sleeping) next to me, and thanked myself for writing this because my butt was really hurting.

Ok. First, Htrae and I decided to get help. She seemed to know something that I didn’t at this point, but I wouldn’t find out what it was until I got to Fridget. We went there because she said we needed ‘backup.’ I tried to protest, saying that Istiria wasn’t ready, wasn’t trained. Htrae didn’t say anything.
When we got to Fridget, we found Istiria right away. She was with a girl. The girl’s hair was white and she had on a long, white dress which seemed to be made of snow. Her name was Eci.
Eci is exactly like Htrae, only she trained Istiria in the ways of Ice. Somehow, Htrae knew this, and so this is why she wanted Istiria’s help. But that’s not all.
Istiria found the next part of the prophecy, after my part. The clue was, ‘But land so cold and desolate/ Will find a word of power.’ ’ The land was obviously Fridget, and Istiria dug right outside of her home to find her part, a simple ‘word of power,’ ICE,. Of course, as you must have guessed, there’s more.
Both Htrae and Eci suggested that we go get Istaria. We couldn’t disagree. If Htrae was right about Istiria and Eci, then Istaria must be trained also. And she must have part of the prophecy.
We went to Manta, and met Istaria and her trainer, Erif. Erif was the only boy among us triplets’ trainers. His hair was bright fire red and his clothing looked like fire, although I’m sure it wasn’t. Of course, I didn’t touch it, so I can’t be absolutely positive. Istaria’s clue had been, ‘To melt the ice off of your shoes/ You find a world of heat/ There will be a world of flame/ And a sentence with a name.’ Her part of the prophecy said, ‘and FIRE will never really fall.’ So all together, what we have of the prophecy says: ‘LIGHT turns to DARKNESS/ And DARKNESS conquers all/ But EARTH, ICE, and FIRE/ Will never really fall.’ I know there’s more, because there are more clues. The next one is ‘A spinning object will reveal/ One word, a word without much steel.’ All we need to do is find a spinning object….shouldn’t be too difficult, right?
Now, you must be wondering why I said at the beginning of the entry ‘I’m ok now, so don’t worry.’ Well, something stopped us on the way, well, actually, someone. S’senkrad.
I never realized, but S’senkrad is not just the best darkness trainer, he is THE best darkness trainer. That may not make sense, but he is like Htrae, Eci, and Erif. And here’s the thing, all of them are siblings. They have 4 more siblings also, Retaw (water trainer), Thgil (light trainer), Ria (air trainer), and Emit (no one really knows). I’m starting to see the resemblance to our family. I know that soon Retaw will start training Toria and Thgil will start training Loria. But what I can’t figure out is who Ria and Emit will train. Mother is…dead…so we will have no more siblings. It really is a mystery.
But back to what happened. S’senkrad knew (how do these trainers know things???) that we were going to try to overthrow Zarian. Of course, he wouldn’t let that happen. He said something to Eci, Htrae, and Erif, in some language unfamiliar to me, and they disappeared, just like that. We were all alone with the master of Darkness.
At that point, I fainted. I don’t know what came over me. I woke up the next day, today, back on Karlett. I can’t contact Htrae or my sisters, no matter how hard I have tried. I’m alone again.
I miss Istiria and Istaria so much! And Htrae. She has become closer to me than…anything I’ve ever known before. It’s almost like…she’s a part of me. I can’t explain it.
