What a first post!
Wow, welcome to the drama that is my life. I learned an interesting fact tonight. Apparently, going to a movie with someone just once 'as friends' constitutes a 'date' which means the two people are 'dating' which means that the two are boyfriend and girlfriend. How did I miss this in Dating 101? Oh, wait; it DOESN'T work like that. I wish someone would tell my coworker. I went to a movie with him, specifically '300,' because I really wanted to see it and none of my friends were able to go with me, and I hate going to movies alone. He was the one who said we would go as 'just friends.' Well, tonight I caught him looking at me many times with a slightly goofy grin on his face, he started flirting with me, which I did not reciprocate, and speaking with another coworker revealed that he's been saying he has a 'girlfriend who doesn't know she's a girlfriend.' WTH? EXCUSE ME? If I WERE someone's girlfriend, I think I would know. Unless I totally misunderstand the definition of the term, 'girlfriend' requires some voluntary acknowledgment on the part of the girl in question, and I have NOT acknowledged! scream If he continues this display, I will snap and seriously tell him off (it's really the most I can do; I only see him at work).
Oh, and here's the real kicker: this coworker is a closet homosexual who has already confessed to having feelings for a gay friend of mine. He's Mormon, and has never really accepted that part of himself. I'm thinking that he's thinking if he has a relationship with a female, he will 'develop' an attraction for her (me) or other females.
*SIGH* This is why I don't watch soap operas. I have enough of my own drama; I don't need any of theirs. dramallama
