A gingerbread man who would lay down at night and listen to his mom as she spoke.
With every word she said it brought him so much hope.
His mama asked will you tell me what you what for Christmas he said nope.
She smiled and said you pulling me to the end of my rope.
The young gingerbread man said mommy wont Santa bring me gifts tonight.
She said i don't know honey maybe alright she kissed him a said sweet dreams good night.
He laid down and closed he eyes and off went his dreams into the night.
As he dreamed he wished and wished with all of his might that he on Christmas will get a brand new bike.
In his dream he remembered what his mama said before he went to bed
Even though you get gifts you cant let it go to your head.
Christmas is not about toys its about giving thats what she said.
He thought of all this as he tossed and turned in his bed.
He awoke the next morning he said mama its Christmas you see.
He couldn't wait to see what was under the tree.
He ran and ran to the tree so fast he was barely seen.
Then his eyes widen he saw everything that was in his dream
But sadly he was missing one thing
The bike wasn't there but it was there in his dream
But the little gingerbread man smiled and a rejoiced
Since he knew what Christmas was really about he care nothing about the bike. He screamed and shout

Great poem, Christmas really is about giving and not receiving.
The gingerbread boy was cool to realize that even without the bike
can still enjoy Christmas. Also In the end since he screamed out loud that he didn't care about getting the bike I'm just guessing that his mom most likely hard and will prolly get him the bike. - Report As Spam

- Thats not the point of the story man the point is that the real meaning of Christmas is giving not receiving.
