• The cold wind blew outside.
My brother sleeping in his bed.
My shivering body under the covers.
This was my cold Christmas night.
There was no sound in the house.
    Just the sudden wind.
The moon out and shining perfectly.
The gentle snowflakes falling from the sky.
I closed my eyes knowing Santa knew I was awake.
Before I could drift off to sleep I heard the slight jingle of bells.
My eyes shot open and so did my brother's.
We ran to the living room seeing no cookies, no milk, just a bunch of gifts under the tree.
We jumped with joy on my cold Chirsmas night.
