The sky is bleak
Of gloom and gray,
Fortelling an, extended stay.
The wind sreams,
Through bare tree branches
Nasty cracks, and frozen crashes.
The world becomes
A barren place
A crystal tomb in frozen space.
But beneath the
Glittering, frozen blanket
Life teems in joy not shaken.
The fire burns
The chimeny's clear
Their hearts alive with Christmas cheer.
Candles sparkling, and
Shimmering orbs
The smell of Hot Cocoa, so rich and warm.
Minds are restless
In sheer delight
Anticipating ghosts of Christmas Night.

- A beautiful poem. I like how the rhyme is pretty consistant and it really gives the essence of the holidays. Well done!
