At midnight
late night
Or morning
Times confuse me
I see no presents under the tree not reindeer on the roof
But familiar city sounds
Right... Out my country door?
I look out the window
As there is a knock
Its christmas decorations
All over my lawn
So real looking
But fake... wait
I don't remember those decorations
But maybe I'm exagerating
Among the lights and inflatable deer
Real ones twitched and moved
I stood with fear
Then the knock was louder
And I peep out the peephole
And I see claus- nick- Santie!
I open the door
And he says to me
Sorry for waking you son-
I couldn't fit down the chimney!
