Oh snow, please let me touch you.
Is it much too ask?
Just give me one clue,
Is it a hard task?
You fall from the sky so elegantly and quiet,
Not waking a single soul,
Oh snow you are my favorite,
You're all I can see through my minute hole.
My parents will not let me jump or play,
In the amazing snow you are,
For I am too young you might say,
Yes it is very bizarre.
You will not stay for longer I know,
Because Christmas is near,
As the presents begin to flow,
I will shed a single tear.
Oh snow, must you leave my grasp?
I know that I shouldn't cry,
But when the window unclasps,
No one will no why.

- Title: The Wondrous Pallid Snow
- Artist: Anellie

Description:
This is a poem about a little girl looking out the window anazlying her snow-covered neighborhood. She's dying to go play in it, but her parents say that the roads and such are too slippery.
(When I say "my minute hole" I mean that the window was so snow covered that you could only see through a little tiny circle. Plus when I say "No one will know why" I mean that she's going to open the window and climb out of it when no one's looking) - Date: 12/12/2008
