• The snow, light innocent snow.
I watch you as you make your way slowly to the ground.
The sun reflects your marvelance as you pass its rays.
I watch you and think of her. You remind me of her eyes.

I know that Christmas is coming. I have my calander marked.
Only a few weeks left now, my heart aches with knowing.
I won't be seeing her, this Christmas, just like the one before.

Christmas won't be the same. Family and friends will still be near.
But the one I need, is the one that is too far for me to reach.
I would drive there if I could, walk or run if only I could.

All I want for Christmas is you by my side. Nothing else.
You can keep your presents, bright lights and merry carols.
Nothing can compare with having her by my side.

She is my holly and my mistletoe.
She is what sounds my jolly ho, ho, ho!
She is my angel that sings from reigning heavens above.

Not having her with me this year, will make my Christmas blue.
This, yes by far, is true.
But there is one thing I know for certain.

I may not have her with me for Christmas or even Christmas Eve.
There is one thing I can assure thee.
I shall be seeing her on New Years Eve!
