• The little drummer boy did nothing but play
He was not well known, nor the greatest, yet he played for the lord of lords
He was not rich or even that good, yet the greatest of all, listened to him play
He could hardly make a living, yet he played before the highest king
He was dirty, smelly and small, yet he played before the savor
He played a simple song, for one who has herd the cores of angles
He was nothing more then a little drummer boy, betting on a battered drum
He was unknown, unworthy, small and dirty, yet he gave everything he could
How much then, are we like that small shepherded boy playing before Jesus
Yet, through it all He smiles at us
