I can't forgive you, any of you,
for what you did to me.
I can't return to the person I was,
the one I used to be.
No, not yet.
I can't experience the love you gave,
the one I so coldly rejected.
I can't see the one in the water,
in which my image is reflected.
No, not yet.
I can't love you the way you want me to,
so just give up already.
I can't be your pillar of strength
that keeps you upright and steady.
No, not yet.
First, I must forgive myself
for the sins I have committed.
And then I must look into my heart,
to see the love in which it has permitted.

I liked this, and I think I got the meaning.
But not everyone needs a pillar of strength. Some of us can stand on outr own, and wait out time until you CAN be yourself again. *smiles* I'm a hopeless romantic, as you can see... - Report As Spam
