• I stare wide-eyed at the snow
All the faces of the children are aglow
Radiant with joy of the presents to come
And enjoyed the now acquired freedom

They run and play in the snow
Some silly ones say that it’s like Pluto
    They laugh they play
Yet they are careful to not go astray
    From their mommies and daddies
    And the warm, delicious cookies

They make snowmen and angels in the snow
And their faces are still aglow
    Overflowing with happiness and joy
As they go play with their new toys

    I watch them play
And listen to what they say
Their happiness is kindled by the presents
And the love from their parents
    Their laughter is blissful
    Like I, the Christmas Angel
