• The surface is a dance of light, Slipping Farther and farther away.
The cold darkness envelops her, Pulling her life astray.

She exhales the air thats been killing Her, lungs full of pain.
Bubbleing to the surface, heartbreak, hate, and distain.

The water's cool forgiveness, She takes it in like a twisted bliss.
Rushing in over lips, that have not seen true love's kiss.

Her eyes roll in to her skull, as the memories come flooding back,
Images of all the wrong, all the hurt, all the pain she's painted black.

Drifting down into the sea where all her tears just blend togather,
She feels the life flee from her as she floats like a feather.

She has one last thought, before she dies, that makes Her change her mind.
She opens her eyes and looks around, for the surface she tries to find.

She struggles and kicks useing all that She has, Her survival she starts to doubt.
Death has his hands around her neck, She knows She wont get out.

She focuses on the thought that She had, before she drifts away.
It was the face of a man she had never met, but She knew She'd love him one day.

She can see the happyness, all the joy, all the love.
She wants it more than anything, She wants to be above.

Above the surface of this sea, these waters that have killed her.
In the arms of this man, the one that could have fulfilled Her.

She feels a hand grab hold of Her's, comforting and strong,
She feels everything will be ok as she's pulled along.

She can feel something is all around her, something soft and warm.
She can feel the sun on her skin, and the bed of sand that conforms.

Everything so fuzzy white, filled with happyness and peace.
She can feel his lips pressed to hers as Death's grip begins to relase.

Faint voices in the distance, cant make out what they say,
like someone yelling at Her form a million miles away.

She feels pressure on her chest, so she tris to cough it out,
Water spills from her mouth as she hears a man shout:

Can you hear me, can you hear me? comeing from far away.
The voice gets closer as she opens her eyes, she never looks away.

The man from her thought, the face that changed her mind,
Kneeling over her now, looking with eyes so kind.

Hey lays next to her, and runs his hand through her hair,
She clings to him for body heat, and he's more than willing to share.

She looks at him with lovestruck eyes, theres something She wants him to say,
He whispers softly into her ear, Everything will be ok.
