A numb mind can know of what it sees
Without reason
Without glee
Without curiosity
A numb mind can't think of what it sees
The wind is but a thing
The howl only a sound
The trees keep their given name
And ageless rings go uncounted
A numb mind can know of what it sees
Of this and that
Of things and names
What great stories could be told
When a numb mind can't think of what it sees?

- Title: A Numb Mind
- Artist: KarmaCreep
- Description: My mind was empty of real thought at the time for I was lacking inspiration. I felt as though I needed to write something but when I looked around me and thought of what I saw I could go no further in depth. All I saw were trees as trees, all I felt was wind as wind. In the end I realized the problem and wrote this poem about it. When your mind is numb, as mine was, your ability to imagine or to see more than what's in front of you is greatly retarded. That's what this poem is about.
