Kuja is the primary antagonist of Final Fantasy IX. Created to provoke war between the humans of Gaia. His ultimate goal is to use the Eidolons to overthrow his creator Garland and rule Terra. Going mad from the revelation of his own mortality, Kuja wishes to annihilate all life believing it to be "unfair" that the world should exist without him.
