I deliberately didn't put a description this week because I wanted to prove that an avatar can speak for itself and can be interpreted however the viewer wants. It could enhance the entry, but doesn't /need/ to be there. I like making avatars, but hate making descriptions. In turn, I really dislike when people make a big deal out of them.

I think you were going for "a picture's worth a thousand words."
I see where you're going in this entry and it makes perfect sense. The only thing that I want to point out is that it looks like he's standing on water. Perhaps you did or didn't notice or maybe the guy really is floating above the water. Maybe he's dreaming. There are endless possibilities.
I really like entries without any description because it lets the viewer come up with a thousand ideas on their own without having to be fo - Report As Spam

I pride myself on being able to simple yet effective avatars. It's been that way since 03 when we didn't have much to work with. Nowadays, my aesthetics may not be for everyone, but I'm confident in my design sense and will not change my overall approach. - Report As Spam
