Why do you think it doesn't suck?
It's better than the entries I've zoomed through tonight, but it's still not all that great. You've got too many shades of the colours you tried to use that don't jive, not to mention your balance of colours is pretty off, too. If you were going for a theme, it might have been helpful to explain that. But as is, I'm looking at a so-so avatar with a bunch of EIs and other expensive items piled on with no mind paid to layering or concept behind the avi.
