june 6 1944 as the landing craft began to land the men on the beach
ctp james miller was nevers and his hand was shacking somemen thown up
as the boats began to get close the driver said clear the ramp 30 seconds
ctp james miller said ill see you on the beach sa the ramp falled the first men were killed the germans fired on the soliders some tried to get out but most were not lucky they drownd and some were shot and some were injured ctp miller stared to get diziy he saw the men died and cried and some got there legs blown off ctp miller grabed his helment and a solider said what the h***

sgt horvath sir ctp miller yelled move your men up the beach sgt siad but sir?
the ctp yelled go so the ctp tryed to get some up the beach andsaw one of his men injured.
