• Prologue

In the far reaches of space there is a world divided by hatred, this world s called Sential. There is a legend that long ago this world was once peaceful until the birth of two brothers, who in their hatred of each other spilt the world in two. Could there be any chance of peace returning once more?
In the north live the ever-peaceful Elementals, a race that can control the elements themselves. Their king Whitefeather tries desperately to protect his people from his evil brother that threatens them. Soon Whitefeather will hide the one Elemental, who holds the key to their future.
In the south live the Darkest, they are master fighter and have a limited power of the elements. Their king Red-eye fights to gain control of the world. He despises his brother and dreams of the day he will finally over throw his brother. That day may be sooner then he thinks. The only things that protect the Elementals from the Darkest are the Element Orbs, which lay across the boarders of their land. Red-eye has finally found a way to rid of the orbs so he may finally attack the elementals head on.

    Chapter one

It began on a clear and sunny day; an Elemental named Catra was lying on the beach with her two friends, Pep and Silva. Catra had lost her parents at a young age, she took Pep in when no one else wanted him and as for Silva, he had also lost his parents. The three of them lived peacefully together in a small hut built for three. They lay on the sunned warm sand with their wings spread out to dry. All three were out of breath having spent the entire day in the water.
As they lay there in the afternoon sun, they talked quietly amongst themselves, enjoying the sun. Dark storm clouds moved in slowly that none of them noticed at first but as the sun faded it started to get chilly. Catra was the first to notice the change and looking at the sky she gasped in wonder and surprise. Hearing her, Pep and Silva looked up as well and stared in surprise. See they got storms but these clouds looked wrong to them. They could feel the difference as it began to form.
“What’s wrong with this storm?” Pep asked. Pep, Silva, and Catra looked like a normal Elemental; white fur and feathered wings, ivory claws, sharp tail blade, and when they choose to they can walk on their back legs instead of always walking on all four. Only an Elementals’s Eyes are different. Catra’s were blue, Pep’s green and Silva’s brown. By the way Pep and Silva are male and Catra is female. Catra also wears a necklace that will prove to be important later on.

    Chapter two-Catra

“This storm isn’t a normal one,” Silva replied a little shiftily.
“Perhaps we should we should return to the village,” I said.
“Yeah, Catra’s right, maybe Whitefeather will know what’s going on,” Pep said.
“We’ll have to walk our wings haven’t had enough time to dry,” Silva reminded us.
As we walked through the forest that led to our village, I started thinking about Whitefeather. He didn’t live in a castle like Red-eye did but he did wear a crown made of a fine silver with a sapphire sun set in the middle of it. Hie eyes were the color of molten gold and worked with the villagers, helping with the many tasks of everyday life. He did this because he was a great leader plus he lived in the village.
My thoughts were so focused on him that I tripped on a tree root and fell flat on my face. Laughing Pep helped me up asking, ”Thinking of your golden eyed boyfriend again?”
“Whitefeather’s not my boyfriend,” you said feeling your face grow hot. The truth was I had a huge crush on him and they knew it. Denying it only made them laugh harder and continued to tease me. Sighing I walked away leaving them to their laughing and cat calls.
“When Pep noticed he stopped laughing and yelled, ”Hey! Wait up!”
I turned my head looking over my shoulder and said, ”Well stop laughing and let’s go.”
While we hurried along watching the sky grow darker and the sudden wind caught us off guard knocking Pep backwards. Silva grabbed him and I led the way yelling, ”Hang on, we’re almost there!”
We made it back just as the thunder and lighting struck. But it was the wind that we fought; it was so bad that I had to place my wing in front of me to try blocking some of it. The downside was that I couldn‘t see well since I was peering between my spread feathers. I ended up bumping into someone and was shocked to see who it was. It was Whitefeather, I stared frozen to the spot, I couldn’t believe I had walked into him and he wasn’t yelling at me for it.
He grabbed my shoulders and in a breathless voice said, “Thank god, I’ve been looking for you.”
    Confused I asked, “Me, why?”
Ignoring my question he looked to Pep and Silva and ordered, “Go help the villagers, we need everyone’s power.”
Concerned Silva asked, “What about Catra?”
