• “Hey! Are you alright?” someone said, “heyyy! Oh no I don’t think he’s ok!”
“Hey I’m ok!,” I replied, “You don’t have to worry! I’m fine.”
“Well, ok but you better get back to your pack, they might be worried about you,” the strange voice sounding a little calmer but still a little worried, “All I know is that I heard a gunshot from over here and I rushed over here to see if anyone was hurt.”
I thought and wondered who was this person, and what pack was he talking about.
“Are there any humans out there?” the voice shouted, sounding as if it was approaching, “Because you may be able to join our pack if our leader permits it.”
“Wait! You’re a human to, right?” I shouted back.
What!? If you want to believe that then how come you understand me, and besides you look like a wolf to me.” the voice softly spoke.
“I’m a wolf!?” I barked in panic, “I must be dreaming, I am no wolf, I’m in my bed at my house, I must be dreaming.” I spotted a beautiful lake that was conveniently beside me, and stumbled over to it slowly. As I approached the edge of the lake I clumsily leaped into the water, and made a big splash. As I hit the glass like surface of the water I soon found out how cold it really was, and was soon climbing out of the lake. When the lake calmed down a little, I looked for my reflection in the lake, and saw not a human, but a wolf.
I jumped and screamed, “What happened to me? Look at me I’m a wolf! How did this happen?”
The strange voice came back quietly, “Quiet! Don’t yell so much, don’t you know there are hunters out there? Come on follow me, our chief may let you in, so hurry up and follow me.”
“Ok I’ll come with you, by the way what’s your name?” I began to ask.
“Well my name’s Dart because of my speed and what about you?” He replied.
“My name?” I thought for a moment, “Uh I don’t remember my name.”
“Can’t remember your name? Well, just follow me for now it’s unsafe here”
As we started into the forest, the sound of a bullet flew by almost hitting me, “Come on!”
What at felt like hours passing later Dart finally asked, “Hey if you don’t have a name then why don’t you make a name up for yourself?”
Some time passed before I bluntly said, “Why not Kurrashi?”
“Sounds good to me, anyway the village is just up ahead, see it?” He responded.
When Dart and I arrived at the village, he was greeted warmly, but as for me, they saw me as an intruder. Dart took me to a cave entrance where a big wolf that looked bigger then most the other wolves slowly came out to the clearing.
“Dart what is your reasoning for bringing me this young pup.” growled the chief.
“Sir I found this young one in the danger zone, he goes by Kurrashi, will you please let him into the pack?” pleaded Dart.
Chief gave a snarl then growled again, “Kurrashi eh? Well if he is to stay here, he will abide by my command until the moon passes me on the day I grow weary and fall asleep my last time.”
I spoke in a shaky voice, “Ok I’ll…”
“Do not speak unless I tell you to!” Chief barked, “Now Dart, help Kurrashi find his way around the village.”
    “Yes Sir!”
As Dart showed me around town, something remained on my mind, how was I transformed into a wolf, and will I ever go back to being a human?
