• Then I saw it there, walking towards me. The mere sight of its sinister smile under the frozen breath of winter sent shivers down my spine. I could only watch in awe as it walked passed me. It glanced at me, there were no eyes, there was only darkness beneath its stare, but I could tell it was looking at me. It began its ascent of the ice covered stairway behind me when the weather began to shift. The farther it got, the quieter the world became, it was too quiet. I wanted to run, but I couldn’t, I stopped breathing, I collapsed onto the ground I stood upon, I saw it move back toward me as I was laying there barely conscious. It gripped my arm with strength harder than stone. Its grip began to loosen, It proceeded to walk away it disappeared into a cloud of smoke, as a look into the past, into the days of yore, into that moment, I collapse in fright. When I even think about where I was when it happened I’d die of shock. But it still is out there plotting and waiting, like it always will be, forever.
