• Ludicrous
Ring Ring! Ring Ring! Slowly, a hand slammed the snooze button on the alarm clock. Once the alarm was turned off, the sound of snoring filled the room again.
“Wake up! Right now! You should have been at school two hours ago!” Ludicrous’s mom screamed at Ludicrous. In disbelief, Ludicrous, an extremely petite pink haired girl, stared at her mom.
“Well, don’t just stand there, change your clothes and leave!” her mom shrieked at her. However, Ludicrous had another thing in mind. She ran off to her closet, just like her mom wanted, yet she slowly took her clothes off from the hanger one by one. Afterwards, she combed her hair extremely slow with one of the smallest combs in the house. Her mom blew up and dragged Ludicrous all the way to school by Ludicrous’s hair.
“I am pleased that you have finally decided to join us, Ludicrous, at last,” Ms. Smith caustically told Ludicrous, “Now tell me why you are late.”
“As I walked towards the classroom, a fairy pounced on me from behind. She brought me to Fairyland, where all the fairies and elves tied me up and danced around me. Nevertheless, with my superior sneaky skills, I escaped. My mom found me on the sidewalk and dragged me all the way to school since my legs were frozen in an ice block for an hour. That is how I am here two and a half hours late,” Ludicrous told Ms. Smith and the class. Once Ludicrous finished her implausible story, the whole class laughed, except for Ms. Smith.
“Yes, and I met the Queen of England yesterday. Just sit down, Ludicrous,” Ms. Smith told Ludicrous with a callous tone. Stunned by Ms. Smith’s tone, Ludicrous quietly sat down behind Amelia Rate, her best friend. Even though everybody else was annoyed about Ludicrous’s “stories”, Amelia loved them. She raised Ludicrous’s spirits, and by the next hour, Ludicrous started making “stories” again.
Once Ludicrous reached home, her mom asked Ludicrous the usual question of what she did that day. There was a long pause. Her mom sighed. That meant Ludicrous had a long “story”.
“When Ms. Smith started talking, she turned her back on us. She shouldn’t have turned around though, since five werewolves entered the classroom. They started chasing us around, and even grabbed Robert and Cally with their mouths. However, Ms. Smith heard the screaming from us and turned around. These werewolves seemed to be fast reactors, thus they disappeared right when she turned around. Ms. Smith scolded us for making extremely loud racket, and we were all sent to detention,” Ludicrous told her mom. Since Ludicrous told her a “story” every day, her mom rolled her eyes at Ludicrous’s “story”. Then, she told Ludicrous to change into her pajamas for sleeping and keep her “stories” in her dreams. Ludicrous just nodded her head and grinned. When the clock struck ten, Ludicrous’s mom check if Ludicrous was sleeping, and Ludicrous lied there on her bed, with a huge grin. Her mom smiled, and walked out. Nevertheless, right when her mom walked out of the room, a voice shouted, “Watch where you step, we elves do not enjoy being stepped on!”

    Aversion
When the bright sunshine of a new day reached Aversion’s room, he sat up and grunted. What was his motivation to wake up and depart for school? Instead of changing his clothes for school, he lied back down and slept. If many of his classmates knew that he might have stayed home, they would have celebrated with fireworks and cakes. Usually Aversion had the affinity for black shirts that include the printed message “I Hate Life”, long black pants, and a dark blue coat. Topping it off with his short brown hair, black eyeliner, and an austere expression, he frightened his classmates to death.
That day, Aversion eventually left for school. What forced him to wake up and leave was the will of his mother who actually hauled him all the way to school. Fortunately, Aversion weighed a light 125 pounds for a male. Ms. Assua, his teacher, ordered the class that day to form teams for a debate, for they started on a chapter about government in history. Although Aversion appeared to be aloof at joining the debate at first, he finally lost his control and started throwing a tantrum at his debate teammates. Ms. Assua tried to assuage Aversion, but she could not ameliorate the situation. In the end, Ms. Assua sent Aversion to the principal, Ms. Alway, who was the antithesis of Aversion. Ms. Alway cheered her pupils on, and enjoyed her job to the fullest. However, even her amazing talents could not help Aversion. Finally, Aversion’s mom came to pick him up.
Once arriving at home, Aversion sat and slouched on the couch. When his mom requested him to do the dishes, he never answered. Later that day, his mom saw his dishes with mold on its silver surface. Even though his mom was his main advocator, she started feeling hopeless over his aberration. At last, Aversion’s day had come to an end. Aversion switched from his black suit to dark blue pajamas, although they looked quite close to the same color. That night, falling asleep, he wondered why he had such aversion to many objects in life.
