• As I walked into the kitchen I smelled freshly baked bread straight out of the oven. Little did I know that later that day I would be teleported to another planet to never see my family again, well I'll continue from here.
My mother called, "Llebrewolf, my daughter, please come over here and help prepare for supper."
"Yes, mama." I said as I walked quickly over to the stove and placed a chopped habenero pepper into an overly large pot on top of the stove.
As you may have noticed I have an odd name. Tess, my mother, says that I am not her daughter, but from another planet. I guess I could see ways to where that would be true. I had a musical voice that belonged to no one in my family, I had blue eyes that sparkled like a star sapphire, and hair that was a raven blue-black. I was also the tallest, six feet, in my family. We'd only immigrated from Mexico a year ago, to Arco, Idaho, in the middle of winter, and my darkly tanned skin turned ivory white within a month. And when I was born I didn't cry, or anything. I was just peaceful, and my mother said I was as pink as a flower, so she gave me an American name spelled backwards, Flowerbell.
    Something was burning.
I looked down and saw that the soup was boiling over so I took it off the stove and placed it onto a counter. I stirred it and reached over to turn off the burner, when my arm touched the hot burner. I didn't notice it until the burner was off and Tess grabbed my arm off the burner. "Are you okay, Wolfy, dear?" She asked with a concerned look on her face. I nodded and when my brain finally realized I should be crying or something, I started weeping and complaining that the burn hurt.
My mom pulled me to the medicine cabinet and pulled out an ointment and smeared it on my burn, then she sprayed lemon juice on it, which stung terribly, and at last she wrapped my arm with bandage wrapping stuff.
"Yeah.....thanks." I said in between my sobs that were shortening, and ended moments later as the pain dulled.
"Your so odd, Llebrewolf." She smiled laughing silently and went back to the kitchen.
I didn't follow I turned and walked down the hall, slowly, to my room. All I did was stand there and I spaced out, right in front of my room, talk about stupid, huh? 'Cause next thing I knew I was tackled onto the floor by my boyfriend, Fabio.
"So, why were standing there like you were struck by lightning?" He asked chuckling and gave me a kiss, which made me melt underneath him.
"How am I supposed to think if you tackle me you big lump!" I said heaving him off.
"Cranky are we?" Fabio said silkily, it was more of a statement than a question. "Lemme help you up, Lil' Wolfy." With a smile he stood and pulled me up off the ground as he got up.
"Whatever." I said rolling my eyes at my nickname. Once I was up and standing, my lovely boyfriend, grabbed me into a bear hug. "Ugh! Gah, you're crushing me!"
"Say, 'I love you'," Smirking he kissed me and once again I my bones melted over him, "Come on. Or no more kisses."
"I love you," I purred happily.
And then we were totally making out and my kid brother and his palooza of five friends, comes down the hall and attack Fabio. They grabbed onto his legs on my brothers orders. "Let my sister go! Senoir! Or you shall go down!" Taz, my brother said, well more or less screamed, to Fabio.
"Taz! Get your friends off of meh boyfriend, or you'll be in for a thwackin'!" I said my voice over doing the bitterness a little too much, and they ran off howling like indians.
"Why were ye, so mean to the lil' tikes, aye? They was just playin', miss." He said laying on a thick layer of Oklahoma accent that he obtained from our drama class. And, he knew it would work, I started laughing, for it was just so stupid sounding.
"Okay, I'm just grumpy, 'cause I burned my arm while I was cooking." I grumbled as he set me on the ground, he and I are the exact same height, go figure.
That's right I forgot to describe Fabio, my beautiful sweet darling. He's six foot even, has the build of supermodel (except he's not anorexic and has muscles), his hair is a windblown silvery blond, and he's got almond shaped hazel eyes that are more green than normal, and his face makes you want to pinch it and call him adorable (I've seen it happen and it's...just plain wrong and scary). His nose is soft and has these light rosy cheeks that are round and soft. Truly gorgeous, well to me he is anyways.
"Let me see where you're hurt so I don't bump it."He said softly into my ear.
"Right here." I pouted pointing to my arm.
Fabio bent down and kissed my arm to make it better. Then he lifted me up bridal style and just as he was about to kiss me...I disappeared.
