It was over. The battle was done. The sky a blood red Dax's blade was coated in gore. The dark lord had disappeared, yet he left all the desrtuction he had caused. His mom and dad dead. One of his only friends lost in a black hole. The only girl he ever liked, a traitor to the murderer of his parents. The person who he hated the most, after the Dark Lord, John, had ended up sacrificing himself just to help Dax.
He was stuck in the middle of a bloody battlefield, with no were else to go, nothing more to live. All that was left in his heart was revenge, and that was what he would get, wheter it would kill him or not.

- love it, but the only thing i would suggest is change the 'done' in "The battle was done", maybe put something like "The sudden rush of adrenaline faded as the exhausting war finally came to an end." i don't know, use it if you want; it's just a suggestion. other than that, it's pretty good.
