• I stood there looking at the mirror, and smiled at my own reflection. I stared at the calm expression, pale skin, and dark features. This was my face that the mirror reflected back. Suddenly, the reflection changed quickly. It no long showed my own reflection, but a party that was begin held on the other side. People stood there laughing, as if everything was okay. I thought it was for that very moment. I honestly did, until something caught my eye. I gazed at the disturbing looking figure, and for a moment they seemed to stare back. The figures was masked in a large black cloak, and didn't seem to fit with the other elegantly dressed people.
I watched for a second, as the the purpose of the person appeared. The long slender blade drew from the side of the cloak. Suddenly, people stopped to stare, and everything was utter silence. They lashed forward so quickly, if you had blinked you would have not seen his blade slam threw the small child's skull. He pulled his blade back and the body collapsed onto the floor.
I slammed my clentched hands agaisnt the mirror trying to distraced him so people could run. It was like they couldn't hear me. God, I just wanted to get away. I turned my back to the mirror, only to find that I was in a room full of them, and the horrific images where still being displayed. I closed my eyes and screamed, but when I opened my eyes, everything seemed real. Wait, I stopped and looked around. I was in this gruesome fairy-tale now. He cloaked figure was killing person after person, torturing them before each one died.
Then, he stopped to look at me. I froze in my tracks as he stepped forward. " These people did nothing to you," I spoke softly, but loud enough to be hear. " Oh, that's what you think," he replied and swung with great power, but I never knew what happened to me. After that, I'd always wake up, just as I did tonight. " Bad dream, Ally?" my brother Drew asked. I nodded silently, but this was only how it began.
