• Walking home alone had never been easy for me, I was afraid that I'd be mugged. Even if it was 12:05 in the afternoon and my cellphone was in my hand. I was afraid of being alone, I guess. I thought about what John said, "I don't NEED one." what was he talking about? Everyone needed a home!I mean, c'mon! So I'd offered him a place to stay, but he'd declined politely rubbing my arms a bit more and sending me home. What was it with guys? They were all so touchy-feely!

The moon was full tonight, that was pretty cool. Maybe that was it, maybe they were being so weird because of the full moon. Nah, they were always like that. I dismissed the idea and started to skip. Then something grabbed me by the collar. I yelped in pain as I was swung around and hit the wall of a building.
"G-g-g-raaaaa-sie?" the 'thing' sounded out. I nodded feebly as it put me down on the ground and started to run off. What WAS that thing? It was definitely not human, his voice was... too, oh jeez! I don't know how to explain it! I thought about running after it, but instead just fell asleep against a wall. I dreamed of the attack. I realized I was bleeding, a lot. There was A LOT of blood. On my head, and up and down my legs. I had to get to a doctor. I had to get up. But, I couldn't.

"Grace! Oh my! Oh my God!" Tim cried as he swung me over his back and started running towards the hospital. I could barely see what was under me. I was too tired to even open my eyes.
"What happened?" Jason asked, inclining his head at such a funny angle I had to laugh.
"Nothing, Jason. Don't worry about it." came out of my mouth, "Just take me to the doctor." I mumbled before closing my eyes again. I just wanted to sleep. To sleep my life away. That seemed like it'd be fun. Just, to sleep.
"Grace, I need you to open your eyes, sweetie." a woman's voice called from Earth, "Thank you. Okay, your injuries aren't damaging in the long term, but you might have to stay here for a while." I nodded and realized I was on a soft mattress. I tried to stretch but someone held me down,
"Don't move, Grace." John said, he looked concerned, "That'll hurt a little worse." I nodded and decided to go back to sleep. I could kind of still hear the voices at Earth though, there were little tid bits I understood,
"What happened?" Tim asked, "You were the last one with her, WHAT HAPPENED?" he was almost yelling. Then I heard Jason,
"Did you hurt her? Did you?"
"No. It wasn't... me." John's voice muttered, "You wouldn't believe me."
"Tell us, dude!" Tim said. I felt him sit down at the edge of my bed, "We're waiting."
"I'm a werewolf." John said, "I transformed and got hungry. I gained control at the very last minute, so please thank me." Jason burst into laughter, but Tim countered,
    "You're a... werewolf? Wait, really?"
"What are you talking about?" Jason said a little later. "Werewolves OR vampires aren't real!" I turned in my bed. Jason was right, wasn't he?
"No, they're both real." Tim said, "I just haven't lost control on Gracie yet. But that's because I'm CAREFUL, dipstick!" I opened my eyes and waved at the three dudes,
"Hey guys, why are you fighting? And what is this talk about vampires or werewolves or something? I asked, "Don't lie because I heard most of that conversation."
"So, now you know. Okay, moving on!" Tim said jumping up.
"No, not moving on. Are you guys serious?" John and Tim nodded. Jason just stood there,
"You've got to be joking... seriously? So, I'm the only normal one out of you dudes?" they nodded, "Now I feel plain!" he muttered. I laughed,
"Serious?" I asked, holding out my pinky, "You're not lying?" They both took it. I half expected them to scream out,
"April fools!" but no one did.
