• Light leaked through the thin curtains hanging from above, a gentle wind managing to bypass the soft, wispy fabric. A soft, melodic tune played loudly through a pair of headphones that hung around Lilian's neck. The thick headband of the earphones rested against the nape of her neck, making beads of sweat slowly accumulate until she couldn't resist reaching up and frustratingly wipe away. It was an abnormal Tuesday morning as she was officially on Spring Break and there was nothing to worry about for the time being. The Southern California weather was warm and breezy, tempting Lily with sandy memories. Instead of packing up a towel and sunblock she stretched her long, slender arms up towards the ceiling of her bedroom with a heavy sigh. She let herself fall back onto the comfort of the bed, a pile of pillows waiting to catch her. A crooner kind of voice serenaded her soothingly until she tossed the iPod aside carelessly, closing her eyes with a lighter sigh than before. Her slender fingers crept up beneath her white tank top, caressing the smooth, tan flesh of her stomach. The skin there was warm and soft and she couldn't help but self-consciously poke and prod at the skin, almost as if it wasn't her own. She could just barely make out the music still playing from the player now buried somewhere under her blanket and bedding. "Listen to the music of the moment people. Dance and sing, we're just one big family. And it's our God-forsaken right to be loved, loved, loved." Lily's voice was soft and completely in sync with Jason Mraz as she rolled over and hunched her back so that she was curled up comfortably. She closed her eyes and for a second a secretive smile curled her perfectly pink lips. Lilian's pensive brown eyes opened with a flourish and her smile only widened with a mischievous kind of flare until she bolt up in bed with a look that told the world she had an idea.
