The Estel Twins.
In truth you could say Alan and Alicia were just like any other teenagers with a growing sense of
direction. Well that’s not the case. Alan and Alicia Estel are a whole other story and here is how it goes.
Being the new kid in school was tough for Alan. Even though his intelligence exceeded that of
any other student ever to come into existence. He could deduce an answer to an algebraic equation with in
seconds of the question being asked. He was the brains of the two and he knew that it wouldn’t matter if he tried to make friends or not he would be leaving with his sister again soon.
Being the new kid in school was as easy as running for Alicia. Her social skills were at a level even the greatest of politicians would envy. Along with a great sense of justice and self-confidence she soared up to the top gaining the title of ’The Popular One’. She was the strength of the two and she
didn’t care, as long as she made friends.
Alan was much stronger and smarter then his sister, though she was to arrogant to admit it. Her
brother was too smart and he was catching up too her. He lasted longer in battle and he still wanted to
become stronger.
Alicia was bent on popularity it was what she feeds off of and for this reason she fell behind,
letting her brother surpass her. She didn’t even care if they had to even each other out or if their lives
depended upon it staying balanced and that every time she fell behind she dragged her brother with her.
Alicia became enraged at her brother’s attitude, so enraged that as she walked down the street the
Earth heated and scorched. She was going to confront her brother and tell him that he was
becoming too strong, exceeding her was not in the plan. He was the brains and she was the strength not
him being both and her being an over powered girl.
Alan became shocked at his sister’s verbal complaint and her obvious distaste for him. He loved his twin sister more then anything. With each breathe he breathed a gust of wind came strong cooling the
air heated by his sister.
Alicia was rather open with her feelings, but never had she ever been as mad as this she was
usually so open and warm, now that warmth was a blazing fit of rage heating the air. Her brother needed
to stop and see that he needed to open up and try a little to make friends instead of training consistently.
He needed to learn that strength comes from the heart not the mind and body that was what she believed.
Alan was distant, but never had he felt so alone he had never been so cold. His sister needed to
calm down and see that she needed to care and try a little harder to perfect her skills. He didn’t care if he
was alone, but seeing his sister this way made his hard colder then it ever was before. She needed to learn that strength comes from practice not the heart.
The frost that Alan was emitting was counteracting with the flames Alicia was emitting. Heat and cold collided with a single touch they both evaporated.
Alan and Alicia still fight to this day about where true strength comes from.
Whenever the day is hot, Alicia, is winning the argument, and each time a cool breeze comes and
lightens the heat, Alan, is making his rebuttal.
Whenever the day is cloudy and freezing, Alan, is winning the argument, and each time the
clouds move away from the sun and that little bit of heat that just seems to warm you completely shines down, Alicia, is making her rebuttal.
In truth they were both sort of correct. True strength comes from hard work and good friends to back you up. Without both the scale would be uneven and the strength you sought to achieve would be
impossible to achieve.
Balance is needed to stay alive without it we would slowly fall into a complete state of loss.
