• Willis had finally gone to sleep; he didn’t think that he’d be able to sleep in the same room let alone he same house as Riverlin and Joyce. Were things finally changing? The night held no nightmares, was it even still night? He awoke to something warm against his skin. His eyes fluttered open, Will noticed that Riverlin was in his arms but that wasn’t the only warmth he had felt; he turned his head and saw the sun light streaming through the blinds. Usually the light would make his eyes water in pain and it would make his skin burn… “Does this mean...” Willis slowly got up and went into the bathroom, turned on the light and stared at himself. His hair had gone back to being is pale white color and his eyes were no longer black. Willis leaned in closer to the mirror with excitement and disbelief. He looked down at his chest and saw that his once fading scar had become very visible again. Quickly Will turned on the water let it run for a minute and splashed cold water on his face then looked back up at the mirror so he could see his reflection again. He looked like his old self again, Willis smiled and ran out of the bathroom opened up his bedroom door and ran out to the living room and spun around just smiling. Soon Willis found himself outside on the front lawn next to his bedroom window in the sunlight; Will herd loud blissful laughter and felt something warm drip on his hands, he opened up his eyes and saw that his hands were in tight fists holding onto the grass. Willis looked up at the sky and screamed at the top of his lungs and found himself on his back still laughing and crying at the same time, he let his body absorb the sun, he missed it so much. After just a few seconds Will was now up off the ground on his feet and started spinning around as if he were dancing.
