• When scarlet got back to camp and changed to a lighter dress, some of the men swaggered over. After the oldest knight got order, he told them they were leaving at dawn. As scarlet let double the amount of bread cook, she went to her tent and packed up her bedroll and clothes. When she reached for her bag of gold, it wasn't there. Serves her right for leaving it out in the open.

After packing her horse to be ready, she pulled out the loaves and said grace. The men always left the smallet's scarps for her, so at night she always baked a loave for herself so she wouldn't appear weak and frail, as they tried to make her look.

When she was done, she pulled out some logs and placed them on the fire, unaware that the eldest of all the men came. She only looekd back after cooking her loave.

"oh." she wispered. She got up and curtsyed to the knight.

"I see you try not to starve yourself." He said, a hint of admiration in his voice.
