• Boy's POV

I see you walking down the hall with a smile so carefree, laughing like theres no problem but i know you lying, I can feel your sorrow, at home you live next door as I lay awake listening to the thrown glass and crystals hit the floor. Your mom is crying again, your dad is drunk again. I can almost hear your silent cry. I hear a knock on my window. I look up to see you with tears down your cheeks, what was once rosy and soft, now wet and lifeless. But just like every night I let you in, I hold you tight in my arms as i cry silent tears, my time is almost up, morning came, I slept on the floor while your curled up on my bed, I told you to go back to your room. I met your again at school, your eyes reflect your sorrow, you say thank you and I smiled as I hear your sweet voice, i savored it for my time is up. You went on tiptoes and whisper into my ear. You say "I love you" and my heart for a moment lifts with joy then shattered into a million pieces as i collapsed in front of you, and the world turned black, I woke up with you crying beside me. I cupped your cheek and wiped your tears, I remember the sounds and smells of the hospital, you said i collapsed and you took me to the hospital. I looked into your eyes and knew you know I'm dying, I smiled and said "I'll never leave you, I'll find a way for us to be together, I promise that the next time you see me, I'll be waiting for you." I hear the beeping of the machine beside me, I felt my heart slow, my eyes drop and i whisper "I....love you." I hear doors opening, footsteps rushing towards me, I opened my eyes and I was floating, I can see my body trying to be revived, and you crying beside my mother and then... silence

    Girl's POV

I stand in front of your grave, I lay down an bouquet of Irises, and weep for this is the last time I'll stand in front of you, I turned and ran back to the car, as we were....moving away, my father stopped drinking and stopped beating my mother and there was peace in the house, but I feel an emptiness inside as I looked back to see your grave fade away in the distance. The new house was beautiful, as I ran to my new room, I hear my mom say that our new neighbors have a son of my age, but who cares, no one will ever replace you, as I curled up on the floor of my room, I remember your forest green eyes and raven black hair, tears sprang from my eyes and rolled down my cheeks, I hear a knock on my window and see your smiling face, I gasped, and you asked "What's wrong?" I shook my head and said "Nothing, you look just like my best friend who passed away." but as I looked closer this young man have Icy blue eyes different from your Forest green ones. The young man said his name was Matt and he lives next door. He asked if he can come in, I said yes, he went through the window and crossed the room to sit beside me, he smiled and leaned down and whispered onto my ear and said. "I told you I'll be waiting"
