Jacob looked around paranoidly as silence seemed to continoue, waiting for an unexpected attack. Silence. Silence.. BOOM! A mushroom cloud sprouted way across the mountain, where there was a cabin. It was loud, yes, but a small explosion. they looked toward each other, wonderung what they should do. SHould they check out the cabin, or just let it be? And besides, what are the odds of someone living there..
"Should we check it out?" Jacob asked, staring at the mushroom cloud sprouting in the air. "It could be something more than a cabin, ya know. Worth checking it out."
"Should we risk it? We were ambushed by an angel we barely escaped, you got hit by some kind of air-born spike that could've killed you. Heck, for all we know, there could be a swarm of angels over there." The seriousness in his voice seemed to be reaching higher and higher.
"Well, nothing we can't handle," he said, in a very pompous voice. "we are demons. We're rivals. What could happen?"
"You're just making my point, Jacob." he replied, not letting him protest anymore more. " We're RIVALS. They won't hesitate to kill us. An to answer your question, we could die in whatever way demons die. Which must be very painful since demons can be very durable."
"Fine, scaredy-cat. Just run away." he said, although he was very convinced by his words. They could die, being so new to their world now. "But as long as we're her, couldn't we just get a small peak at what's there, then start training?" Jacob's voice wwas hopeful at the least to do that.
"Okay. But be quiet as we're heading over there. Even if they're other demons, they're not like us. They could probably kill us even if we're demons, too." Natashi said cautiously.
As they sneaked over, they saw only endless amounts of trees, but the occasional creeper figure. They would have to do research on the place later, but Natashi could hardly wait to see what new things are here, what they could do, and what are the secrets here. Is it some kind of Monster Forest from goosebumps? Everything seemed to be as if they were free out of a cage and journeying the new world of which they had never experienced.
They approached a nearby bush when they had reched their destination. A chill went up their spines when they heard a gravelly voice. It sounded as if a nail was screeching on a black board when the other person spoke.
"So have you heard? They're gone." said the nail guy. "Apparently, he killed him. I knew it was going to happen. I knew it."
Him? Though Natashi and Jacob. What are they talking about? Who are they talking about?
