• Part 1: The Capture
It wasn't normal for a Tornado warning to be here. No one knew what to do, so many just panicked. There were no sirens, there were no shelters, there were no basements meant for Tornado's here. We were completely in danger. But that was normal for a small group of kids who had extra ordinary powers. Well, I wouldn't really call them 'powers' more or less skills. Well that’s what we call them anyway. My name is Daniel. I can control objects and people with my mind. My best friend is Tori Parish, she can control fire. Like she can move it and create it. Then there’s Brett Dennen, he can Teleport from place to place and make others and objects teleport. Then last but not least there’s James Sporen. He doesn't get to really use his power though, because well...we'd rather not use it. He tortures the mind. Well, back to the Tornado. Every one was running around and screaming. Trying to find somewhere to hide. The sky was getting darker and the clouds were swirling around in the sky, a funnel cloud appeared over the houses of the people. Slowly the clouds began to form the Tornado. "Come on! You need to go this way!" I could hear James telling a group of people. A few yards away I could hear Brett swear under his breath and say "I don't see why we can't use our Skills." The tornado's roar was starting to get louder and objects were becoming detached from the ground. In the distance I could hear and see a small family, probably only a mom, dad, and kid cry and yell for help. I ran to try and help them, but a live power line fell in between me and the family. The other ways were blocked off, and i had no other choice. I gave the command. "All right! I guess its time for us to use our Skills!" I yelled over the roar of the Tornado. At the moment I saw Brandon teleport two families, but the shock from the power line made me remember the family i had on my hands. I took a deep breath, closed my eyes, and concentrated on the object. In my mind I pictured the object and where I wanted to move it. I heard the crys stop and guessed that either

    A.
They were Dead, or B. The power line was moving.

I hoped the power line was moving. opened my eyes and I was right, it had moved. I ran toward the family again, "Are you okay?" i asked them. They slowly nodded their heads, shock and fear froze on their faces. "Hey, Brett! We have another family over here!" I yelled at Brett, but soon noticed that The family and I were the only ones here. Brett had left them, The Group had left me. Wow. They all had left me. I was the Group's leader, and they had left me, Daniel. The leader. I grabbed the kid, and told the family to follow me. I ran toward a little basement that the Group had built for themselves and others for just in case. "Come on, you can stay in here until the tornado is over." I told them. I set the little girl on one of the many beds we had placed down here. I walked to the other end of the basement, and punched a wall as hard as I could, and the warm blood trickled down my fist and into a small puddle the size of a dime on the floor. The basement shook, and the little girl screamed as a piece of the ceiling fell beside the bed. I walked over to the little girl and put my arm around her and whispered "It'll be okay, my friends will come and we will get out of here." As I finished my sentence I heard Brett's voice above us. "Hey! We're down here! Brett!" I hollered at him and heard his foot steps come closer to the door. "Brett! Down here!" I yelled. The door opened, and I realized that it wasn't Brett. It was a recording of his voice, yelling my name. A man in a white lab coat was holding the recording. Four S.W.A.T men stood behind him with their guns ready. I couldn't stop bullets, I wasn't fast enough yet. I needed more practice. The man with the recording walked toward me and the family. I backed up and put my arms up in a defensive way so I could protect them if I had to. Then, I felt a shock go through my body. Not like a like door knob shock either, it was a shock from like the power line. The family was on their side, and one of them had a taser and had tased me in the spine. They hit me again and again. I could feel the breath leave my body and my lungs shrink up from the lack of air. I fell to my knees before I felt the last shock. It may not have been the last shock, but it was the last one I felt before everything went black.
