• A large man grabbed me by my collar and belt while throwing me into the metal doorway. I screamed as I fell towards the hard concrete floor but luckily I collided with another person softening my landing. The large man rushed through the door only seconds later and proceeded to shut the huge metal door, not worrying about who he squished. On the other side the rest of the people started to scream and a slim amount of people made it through the door before it sealed the room before it forever.

I was emitted into the hospital after a large infection started to grow on the left side of the face. Even without being allowed to look at it, I could tell it was bad. The nurses had a big fit choosing who would care for me but while the other nurses argued Ms. Ruby volunteered. The other nurses were shocked but I could see a sign of relief in their eyes. It ticked me off that the other nurses felt that way but she seemed nice. Ms. Ruby had dark red shoulder length hair that complimented her pointy facial features. She was short, at least 5.2 ft, and wore a brightly colored shirt, matching pants, neutral colored flats that matched the tile floor. It almost seemed like she didn’t have feet, which made me laugh. Unlike the other doctors she told me what was happening: I had a large unknown infection or growth on the left side of my face which while in the hospital grew to a few inches from my nose. It looked like a large tub of paint that mixed shades of brown, black, green and even in one spot below my eye orange. Ms. Ruby says the doctors have know idea what it is, how I got it, or even where it originates from.
The few hours I’ve been here has felt like days, multiple doctors in and out of my hospital room. Whether they were taking samples, drawing blood or asking me the same questions over and over again. Ms. Ruby was with me the whole time though, which made it a little better. My parents didn’t stay, after they signed me in they both left without saying anything: I think maybe they were ashamed. I didn’t mind only because Ms. Ruby was there. She was a lot nicer than they ever were and she actually paid attention to me when I talked. They worked out of state as realtors so I rarely saw or even had a conversation with them.
