• all of the old ways are lost in this new modern world what was once considered great enlightenment is now passed of as spiritual gibbering and nonsensical superstition.the past however is a funny thing, it finds ways to survive and endure no matter what we do. mazo lay in his earthy tomb waiting to the last scrap of flesh to rejoin his body before he rose. after all what purpose would it serve to rise missing half his face or an arm? the explosion that had 'taken his life' had been great and he had no idea how many years or even centurys he had been waiting to heal.as the last peices of his flesh fell into place he began working his way up through the soil to fresh air.as he surfaced he heard a sound he hadn't heard since his intombment,thunder rumbling as lightning flashed across the boiling clouds that hid the night time sky.the rain came in a torrentual down pour soaking him to the bone washing the mud and grime from his pale form."what has happened to my city my beautiful home?" he wondered aloud.slowly he made his way toward a glow on the horrizon .by dawn he stood on a hill side overlooking a small city."where is this?" he asked the still morning air not expecting a answer. "this is blackwood. your not from around here are you?"replied a small girl dressed in black and shiny metal studs her hair shown blue in the morning sun."no i am not"he said quietly smiling at the girl"i can tell most people would die of shame at having been caught outside naked and the others would have not been happy to see me. my name is poisen thats what my daddy named me cause momma died giving birth."mazo tilted his head why was she being so open to him? as the light got stronger he could see bruises on her alabaster skin her right arm was one massive burn scar up to her elbow."who did this to you?was it your father?" he asked his grey eyes suddenly tuning red with anger she nodded."i see" he said. this was why he had been 'killed' he found mortals weak and wanted to kill the ones who harmed others espcialy those who hurt their young...
