• I slowly opened my door, and actually jumped when it made that creaking noise that doors like to make when you wanna try to be sneaky. I looked left and right. It was a very pretty hallway....I could just sit here and not even wanna bother seeing the rest of the place. The walls had a nice creamy color and the floors and trim were a deep brown color, with a very nice dark blue and silver walkway rug stretching all the way down each way. The wall had a few paintings scattered here and there, all looked like the ones I'd seen at my friends grandmother's house. Paintings of lush gardens, ballroom's with dancers, and even one singular painting of a park. I started walking left, looking at the doors as I passed. All of them were closed but where kind of neat to look at. I turned a corner and another hallway greeted me, but with a staircase at the end. I walked a little quicker this time, taking the stair 2 steps at a time. I was up on the railings by the front doors now. I walked down the long staircase and at the bottom I looked towards the doors leading to outside.

Now I know what some of you are probably screaming in your heads right now. 'Stupid girl, go out the doors and make a break for it you stupid blonde.' And while normally I would agree whole-heartedly, I am A.) not going to pass up the chance to check out this place, B.) I don't even know where I am so I'll take safety odds here with Autumn than the axe-murderer in the cornfeild (if there are any around here, I can't recall since I don't know where I am) and C.) I'm not blonde.....Well....not anymore. I walked over to another hallway and followed it down. This hallway was bare and just the pretty pearl floor. Another double door greeted me at the end. I was shocked when I opened them. A very grand and quite frankly straight out of the movie Titanic ballroom greeted me. There were even giant glittering chandeliers for crying out loud! The wood in here was very polished so I stepped in carefully. No need to repeat last time....embarrassing much? There were large windows with big dark red drapes, and even a piano in one corner! Now the piano is what caught my eye....I'm gonna let you in on one seriously deep dark secret that is to never leave the confines of my mind and now yours....I'm a complete and total piano enthusiast. I've been playing my mom's standard upright that was always in desperate need of tuning since I was 6. I loved the feeling of the keys beneath my fingers, hearing a melody slowly weave together when my hands began moving. The piano in front of me was genuine Steinway. It was just beautiful to look at. I always dreamed of owning a Steinway piano, but obviously it's WAY out of my price range. I sat down and looked over the most beautiful ivory keys. I could almost cry! A sudden compulsion hit me like a speeding train. I REALLY wanted to play something on this piano. But I was afraid of Autumn finding out.....Oh decision, decisions, decisions.

After a quick 20 minute debate with myself I decided I was going to play a song. If he got mad, then I'd try to deal with it.....otherwise I'd make a dash for one of the windows and make a messy exit. I slowly started to play the fist few beginning chords to Rachmaninoff's rhapsody on a theme of paganini, and after a few chords I stopped and began playing Yurima's 'River flows in you' for a few measures. About 2 minutes in I stopped again, this time I decided to try something funny and started playing 'catch you, catch me' from cardcaptors. When I had my fun I suddenly heard clapping, I whipped around to see Autumn standing by the door.....Crap.
