• Suppose for a moment you are asleep. You are having a dream. And in the dream something strange occurs, you may pull out your wallet and find a 13$ bill, you may count your fingers and find that you have 7, or look at your watch and see that it's 15:32 a.m. Whatever it may be it makes it obvious to you that you're in fact dreaming. Now that you are aware that you are dreaming you can directly influence the dream.
    This is called lucid dreaming.
A lucid dreamer is one who is aware that he or she is dreaming. When we dream our eyes are not open so we can see nothing. The dream is created by our minds. When one is lucid dreaming we can use our minds to create our own dream.
I asked a few questions earlier that I didn't answer. But let us suppose that we can not determine the beginning or end of our consciousness which to my knowledge we can't. Something which has no beginning or end will either always exist, or never exist. Therefore since we already are existing our consciousness will always exist since it has no beginning or end. So when we are rooted by the perceptions of our earthly body our reality is created by those perceptions. But imagine if you were all the sudden no longer able to see, touch, taste, hear, or feel. I'm talking total sensory deprivation. Is it not possible that our mind could create our own perceptions for all of our senses? So, suppose you were trained your whole life to believe that when you died you were going to show up at the gates of heaven and be judged by God. Suppose you believe this so vehemently and have such utter faith in it that the most logical and well composed argument could not convince you otherwise. If our perceptions were to be created by our own conciousness when we die is it not impossible that the power of suggestion could influence one to percieve the very thing which they have been trained to believe will happen for their entire lives? Is it not possible that just having faith, and believing in your ideals could make them real? Perhaps there is no such thing as an incorrect religion because of this very fact.
